Gate Fittings for Garden Fence with Hinges With Bend Blue

This gate fitting set is equipped with 2 modern blue galvanized hinges of 65 cm with bend. With thicker support posts, your door will fall nicely in the middle of the support post through the bend. In addition to the hinges, this set also includes 2 galvanized hinge hooks, 1 fence lock, 6 M8x30mm lag screws galvanized, 2 carriage bolts M8x60mm galvanized, 12 stainless steel 4x50mm garden screws, 6 stainless steel 4x30mm garden screws, a hardwood drill 6mm and a hardwood drill bit of 9 mm thick.

Install gate hardware set for garden fences

To mount this hardware on your garden gate, use the supplied lag screws. There are 3 round holes and 1 square hole in the blue galvanized 65 cm strap hinges. Use the lag screws for the round holes and the supplied carriage bolts for the square hole.

Use the 6mm thick hardwood drill bit to pre-drill the lag screws. Note: do not drill all the way through the garden fence. 2 cm pre-drilling is enough. With the 9 mm thick hardwood drill bit, you can drill right through the garden fence. You do this at the place of the square hole of the strap hinge. This is because the carriage bolt is passed through. With the 12 stainless steel 410 garden screws 4x50 mm you can securely fix the hinge hooks. You should use the 6 stainless steel 410 garden screws 4x30 mm to mount the gate lock.
