In addition to this high-quality steel, the metal drills have a Titanium Nitride (TiN) coating. This coating makes the drill bits heat resistant up to 600 degrees. This allows you to drill into the metal for a long time without having to stop to cool down the drill bit. Wovar metal drill bits are available from 2.0 to 13.0 mm. In addition to individual metal drill bits, we also offer metal drill bit sets.

With thinner metal drills (up to and including 4.0 mm), remember not to put too much pressure on the drill and to drill in gently. Because these drill bits are very thin, they will break faster. If you drill carefully, Wovar's metal drills will last longer. With thicker metal drill bits, it is possible to apply a more pressure.
