Glazing Bead Screws

Are you looking for screws to mount slats and skirting boards? Wovar supplies glazing bead screws with a special AR coating (Anti-Rust) in various sizes. Glazing bead screws are extremely popular for mounting laths on windows and doors. As a result, glazing bead screws can also be seen as frame screws. These screws have an extra sharp point so that you can quickly press the glazing beads into the wood surface. The unique self-drilling diamond point ensures that the screws can be processed to a minimum distance of 3 centimeters from the end of the batten, without splitting the wood. The glass screws are available in 3.2 and 2.5 millimeters thick. Lengths range from 30 to 50 millimeters.

The bronze coating on the glass plate screws is an AR coating c4. This is a coating that prevents rust. This makes the glazing beads suitable for indoor and outdoor use in, for example, your windows or door frames.

In addition to the glazing bead screws, Wovar also has specially coated screws for wood with tannic acid: screws for oak & garapa hardwood. Stainless steel 410 chipboard screws are also among the options. If you were looking for a screw for larger materials, then the coated construction lag screws for oak and garapa hardwood are recommended.

Glazing bead screws with AR-Coating are supplied in boxes of 200 pieces. When you work with hardwood, it can be a good idea to pre-drill with a hardwood drill bit. It must be less than the thickness of the screw.

The bronze glazing bead screws from Wovar have an AR coating. This coating is applied to the v screws to protect against oxidation. AR coating stands for anti-rust coating. Because the coating is applied thickly, you do not have to worry about damage when screwing in the screws.

All glazing beads are provided with a Torx impression. In most cases this is Torx-15. This ensures that you can easily screw in the screws, but also keep a good grip on the screw head while screwing in the glass screws. The bronze colour disappears nicely with most natural wood colours. You can also overpaint the screw, or fill it up and then paint it.
