Chipboard screws Stainless Steel 410 5 x 60 mm Torx 25 with cutting point - 200 pieces
With chipboard screws 5 x 60 mm of stainless steel 410 quality, you can mount heavy-duty constructions in the garden. The cutting tip means that you only have to pre-drill when working with hardwood. The shank ribs that sit just above the thread reduce the friction of the screw. This allows you to screw the screws into the wood faster and there is less tension on the screw. This ensures that the screw retains its optimal strength. And that your machine can drive more screws per battery. The beautiful narrow pan head ensures a nice recess in the wood. Milling ribs are attached under the countersunk head. The milling ribs under the 8 mm thick pan head ensure that the screw still pulls tightly into the wood.
Do I have to pre-drill these stainless steel screws?
Stainless steel 410 chipboard screws do not oxidise and have the same strength as galvanised screws. Stainless steel A2 quality screws are much softer and break quickly when screwed in. With the stainless steel 410 chipboard screws from Wovar you are assured of a very strong screw. Pre-drilling is necessary when working with hardwood. For our 5 mm thick chipboard screws, use our 3.5 mm thick hardwood drill bit. Choose the correct length of chipboard screws for mounting boards by multiplying the thickness of the board by 2.5.
