Chipboard screws are perfect for fixing metal or plastic to wood, as well as wood-to-wood connections. Because of the partial thread, pre-drilling is not necessary. Are you working with hardwood? Then we do recommend pre-drilling with a 4 mm hardwood drill bit. Hardwood could split when you fasten a screw. Pre-drilling prevents this from happening.

Our galvanised chipboard screws 6 x 110 mm are strong and easy to fasten. With the pozidriv and special wax on the screw, you can fasten more screws with a fully loaded battery. Both of these features lower the force required to fasten the screw. The pozidriv is different from a regular Philips head screw in that it is star-shaped and deeper, increasing the grip of the bit on the screw. 

The screws are made of hardened galvanised steel. This means they have been heated to a high temperature, after which they were immediately cooled down. This process results in more durable and rust-resistant screws.
