Since this is a virtually universal size, there is a big chance you will not have to widen the current holes if you are replacing your cupboard knobs. Does the piece of furniture not have any holes yet? Use a 4 mm hardwood drill bit to make them.

Step 1: Determine the position of the knob on the cupboard door or drawer.
Step 2: Mark the spot where the screw will have to go.
Step 3: Drill a hole with a 4 mm hardwood drill bit.
Step 4: Insert the screw.
Step 5: Twist the drawer knob onto the screw.
Step 6: Open and close you cupboard or drawer with ease.
