Simply slide the corner in another corten steel border and push it into the ground. Use a rubber mallet if necessary.

The inside corner is delivered unrusted. The rusting process takes some time to fully complete. You can expect this process to take several weeks to months (depending on weather conditions). But with Wovar's rust accelerator, you can make your Corten steel rust much faster! You no longer have to wait weeks or even months for the Corten steel to fully rust. With this rust accelerator, the Corten steel will be rusted within 10 hours. This product is available in 1L and 0.25L sizes.

An alternative to our rust accelerator is to pre-degrease the Corten steel using a suitable cleaning agent. Next, apply a salt solution made by dissolving three large tablespoons of salt in 10 liters of warm water. Apply the salt solution generously using a plant sprayer or watering can. Please keep in mind that this method generally works slower than using our specially developed rust accelerator.
