What is the difference compared to standard garden edging?

Installing the garden edging

• Step 1: Decide where you want to install the garden edging and calculate how many metres you need.
• Step 2: Dig a trench using a spade where you want to install the corten steel garden edging.
• Step 3: Fasten the garden edging sections together using the corten steel hex bolts.
• Step 4: Drive the stakes into the ground using a rubber mallet. Use a spirit level to ensure the garden edging is straight. For additional stability, you can use 4 x 4 cm hardwood fence stakes.
• Step 5: Refill the trench with soil or gravel.

Tip: Use our rust accelerators to achieve the characteristic rusted appearance in approximately 10 hours. The garden edging is supplied in an unrusted condition. Without a rust accelerator, the weathering process can take anywhere from several weeks to several months, depending on the weather conditions.
