This door catch bracket prevents doors from rattling and protects against damage during unexpected gusts of wind. The door stopper can be easily mounted on the exterior wall of your home using galvanized wood screws 8 × 50 mm. For extra support and steel protection, it is recommended to use M8 washers.

For correct installation, it is important to know the dimensions clearly. This galvanized door stopper has the following measurements:

• Side for wall mounting: 275 mm
• Side with buffer and wind hook: 245 mm

How do I install a door stopper?

For optimal performance, use the following mounting angles:

• Angle 1: 68°
• Angle 2: 56°
• Angle 3: 56°

Mounting on a stone or concrete wall? Use nylon plugs 12 × 60 mm. Drill a Ø12 mm hole approx. 60 mm deep, insert the plugs, and tighten the screws with a 13 mm wrench.

Mounting on wood? Plugs are not needed, but pre-drilling is recommended using a 6.0 mm hardwood drill bit.
