As a result, you do not have to pre-drill the screws, the assembly is waterproof, and your machine has a lot of grip when screwing in the screws. The EPDM ring has a diameter of 19 mm.
The sandwich panel screw for steel is made of Bi-metal. This means that the screw is made of stainless steel and the self-drilling tip of metal. A stainless steel drill point is too soft to drill through steel. That is why a steel drill point was chosen. The screws for mounting sandwich panels on wood are made entirely of stainless steel.

The screws are 6.5 mm thick and the lengths vary from 100 to 200 mm long. The length you need depends entirely on the thickness of your sandwich panel plates. You take the thickness of your sandwich panel plate and add approximately 50 mm to it. For example, do you have sandwich panel plates of 60 mm thick, and do you want to mount them on wood? Then choose our sandwich panel screws stainless steel for wood 6.5 x 125 mm. Thanks to the self-drilling tip, it is not necessary to pre-drill the screws! This point is often referred to as drill point 2 by carpenters and construction workers.

This means that the screw is made of stainless steel and the drill tip of metal. A stainless steel drill point is not strong enough to drill through steel. As with the sandwich panel screws for wood, you determine the length by adding approximately 50 mm to the thickness of your sandwich panel.
