Spring Loaded Door Stop White 165 x 30 mm - Per piece

This spring loaded door stop, also called a plunger door stop or kick down spring loaded door stop, allows you to hold the door open even when your hands are full. With a simple push of the button with your foot, you lock the door in place. Even though it is called a door stop, a more accurate name would be door holder, since it allows you to hold the door open in any desired position. The dimensions of this white door holder are 165 x 30 mm (l x w), and the projection length is 50 mm. The projection length is how far the plunger can go down. This door holder can be used with doors weighing up to 40 kg.

Fasteners are not included, so we recommend adding 3.5 x 30 mm galvanised chipboard screws to your order. Chipboard screws allow you to attach the plunger door stop to softwood without pre-drilling. If you are working with hardwood, pre-drilling with a 2 mm hardwood drill bit is recommended to prevent the wood from splitting.

Installing a spring loaded door stop is not difficult. Start by determining the best position for the door holder. Keep in mind that the projection length for this door holder is 50 mm. Use the screws to attach the plunger door stop to the door. If your door is made of hardwood, mark the mounting holes and pre-drill them. Next, you can fix the door holder to the door.
