How does a ratchet straps work?

Step 1: Move the lever upwards back and forth to bring the ratchet into position, when it is in position the strap fabric can be easily passed through it.

Step 4: Ratchet the ratchet strap tight with the ratchet by making an upward pushing motion with the lever. On average, you need about 2 to 3 full turns to make the strap as tight as possible.

Step 5: Lock the ratchet strap by returning the lever to the reclined position, once you hear a click, the ratchet is locked and ready for transport.
