How do I install a letter plate?

Installing a letter plate is not a very hard job, but it is important to do it accurately. Start by marking and cutting out the opening. This should be a rectangle of about 3.2 x 28 cm. Drill a pilot hole with a diameter of 7 mm on either side of the hole. The distance from the edge of the slot to the heart of the pilot hole should be 1.8 cm. You can now simply install the letter plate with the included fasteners.

Letterbox draught excluder

Because the flap is equipped with a spring and closes automatically, you will experience little to no draught. If there is still some draught passing through, it can be contained with a draught excluder on the inside of the door.
