Hot Dipped Galvanised Adjustable Gate Hinge of 120 cm
This adjustable gate hinge is 120 cm long, 5 cm wide and 6 mm thick. Furthermore, this set of gate fittings consists of a hinge plate and a strap hinge and is supplied without mounting hardware.
The mounting holes of this gate fitting are 10 mm. For a firm attachment, we recommend using our M10 x 60 mm Galvanised threaded bolts and Galvanised tap bolts.
Installing Adjustable Gate Hinges
The mounting of this hot dip Galvanised gate hinge is quite easy. Ensure optimal weight distribution by mounting the rods parallel.
Step 1: Select the position of the adjustable gate hinge and mark the screw holes.
Step 2: Then lightly pre-drill the mounting holes in the post with an 8mm hardwood drill.
Step 3: Fasten the hinge plate to the post with the M10 x 60mm bolt.
Step 4: Now drill the mounting holes for the gate hinge in your garden door or gate. Use a 10 mm hardwood drill for this.
Step 5: Then use the M10 x 60 mm tap bolts to mount the gate hinge to your garden door or gate.
Step 6: Hang your garden door or gate on the hinge plate and adjust the spacing as desired.
