Floating Shelf Bracket of 10 cm on Mounting Plate - Per Piece

So you simply attach the bracket yourself to your concrete, stone or wooden wall. 

Installing Shelf Brackets Invisibly

To attach the shelf bracket, you must first drill holes in your wall. The supplied plugs have a diameter of 6 mm. You can therefore pre-drill in stone or concrete with a 6 mm drill bit, which can be found in our concrete drill range. For hardwood, we recommend pre-drilling with a 4mm hardwood drill, found in the hardwood drills range. You can also find the drills between the related products. We recommend using a spirit level to mount the shelves neatly on your wall. 

After pre-drilling, place the mounting plate on the wall and mount it with 2 screws in the outer mounting holes. Then clamp the bracket onto the plate. You can still slightly adjust the bracket in height and width. Secure the bracket by screwing the remaining 2 screws into the inner mounting holes. Now the bracket is firmly in place and you can attach the shelf to it. The bracket has a diameter of 12 mm, so provide your boards with holes that are no larger than 12 mm, to avoid a loose fit. How Far Apart to Place Shelf Brackets?

We recommend installing the shelf brackets with a maximum of 40 cm spacing to optimise the load-bearing capacity. The load-bearing capacity also depends on the depth of the shelf you want to use. With the following sum you can calculate the load-bearing capacity of the floating supports yourself: 3450/ (2x depth of the plank in mm). Example: Your shelf is 20 cm (200 mm) deep. Then the sum becomes 3450/(2x200) = 8.625 kg. In addition to the shelf and the space in between, the quality of the wall also influences the load-bearing capacity. So keep this in mind when placing objects on the shelf.
