These black 4 x 30 mm screws for oak and garapa wood have a special anti-rust coating (AR-coating) that also provides excellent protection against tannic acid. The screw has been treated with an organic protective coating, making it just as rust-resistant as a regular A2 stainless steel screw. The difference is that this screw is made of hardened steel, which is at least 2 times as strong as regular stainless steel screws. In addition to oak and garapa wood, the screws can also be used with red cedar, kapur, and accoya wood.

You do not have to be afraid of damaging the coating when using the screws. The coating is self-healing and able to repair small scratches, resulting in great protection against tannic acid.
