Flex Fence White Rotatable Slats for Garden Stainless Steel 221.5 cm (105 and 116.5 cm) - 2 pcs
These luxurious white slats are 221.5 cm long and are perfect for creating beautiful shutters, fences, or roof coverings for your garden. Unique and exclusively available from us! The stainless steel rails guarantee rust resistance, and the mounting materials are included free of charge, so you can start installing the slats immediately after delivery.
Please note: You will receive a total of 2 stainless steel rails measuring 105 and 116.5 cm. These can easily be securely connected using the supplied connectors. Simply remove two sets of bolts and nuts from the Flex Fence, place the connectors between the two parts, and fasten the assembly together. Use an M7 socket wrench. Do not overtighten to avoid bending the Flex Fence.
The accompanying boards must be selected by you, as they are not included with the slats. Please take a look among the related products. If you want to see more options, we recommend viewing our full selection on the Flex Fence category page.
Installing adjustable slats
To attach the boards, screws must be ordered separately. To fix the boards, we recommend using galvanised screws 3.5 x 16 mm. The diameter of the fixing holes for the boards is 4 mm. We recommend a maximum spacing of 180 cm. Suitable boards are 1.6 - 1.8 cm thick and 14 to 14.5 cm wide. Choose, for example, impregnated pine fence boards or smoothly planed hardwood fence boards. Wood always needs room to move. Therefore, do not screw the boards too tightly against the stainless steel rails. Furthermore, we have ready-made board sets available for this Flex Fence. You can find them on our Flex Fence White page.
The Flex Fence components have holes at the ends. These must face the outside. The slat guides must also both be on the same side (outside or inside) to create a proper right and left side. One side receives the short part and the other side the long part. The U-profile connector part can be mounted by loosening the nuts on the slat holder where the connector will be placed.
How do I extend or shorten adjustable slats?
The adjustable slats from Wovar in white are easy to extend and shorten. You extend the slats by stacking 2 pieces on top of each other. If this is too long, simply shorten them with a hacksaw to the desired length. This allows you to easily make your own shutters for the garden.
Note! Most types of wood contain acids. These can leave a thin layer of rust on the rails. From our extensive tests, this has no effect on the strength of the Flex Fence and can easily be wiped away. For coastal provinces, this effect is slightly increased. Even then, it has no negative impact and can easily be cleaned off.
Shortening adjustable slats
Our customer service often receives questions such as: how can I shorten these adjustable slats? Is it also possible to order longer slats from you? In the video, we show how you can shorten and extend Flex Fence Adjustable Slats. This makes it possible to bridge a distance of, for example, 200 cm.
Ordering adjustable slats
Order adjustable slats at Wovar! Are you looking for a shorter variant? Then also see our 95 cm long Flex Fence under our category Flex Fence White. Please note: The Flex Fence may appear slightly loose upon arrival. This is not a problem, as you can decide how light or heavy the slats open. You can easily solve this by tightening the locking nut in the U-profile of the slats. When you tighten it, the supports will sit more firmly. Use water pump pliers for this. Note: do this before mounting the slats, as you cannot access it after installation.
