Drop Bar Latch Black - 430 mm

Mount the drop bar gate latch

Mount the black overlapping gate latch with our galvanised black screws, 4 x 25 mm. Place the 2 rectangular plates approximately 8 cm apart. For wooden entrance gates thicker than 40 mm, black screws 4 x 30 mm are recommended. Are you attaching the drop bar latch to hardwood? Then pre-drill with a 3.0 mm hardwood drill bit. This is not necessary for softwood. Mount the drop bar latch at the top centre of your garden gate, as you can see in photo 4.
