This heavy joist hanger is suitable for placing 75 x 175 mm beams. The very strong Wovar joist hangers are at least 2mm thick and have a CE mark. These joist hangers have 43 handy screw holes. This makes a solid mounting possible in any situation.

What is the carrying capacity of this joist hanger?

The load capacity of this Wovar joist hanger is shown in the table below. In the image on the right you can see which abbreviation belongs to which wearing direction. For example, DR stands for the bearing capacity downwards, DW for the lateral strength and T for the force of the beam or wall. The table shows the load-bearing capacity for T-joints from wood to wood. As you can see, the load capacity is higher if you use screws to mount the joist hanger. The load capacity has been tested with a total of 34 galvanised screws 5 x 35 mm. It is recommended to use at least 4.0 mm screws. The load-bearing capacity for fastening with nails has been tested 4x40 mm threaded nails 34 pcs.
