Aluminium coat hooks

When installing aluminium coat hooks, we recommend placing the coat hook on your wall at 170 to 175 cm from the ground. However, a comfortable and reachable height is not the same for everyone, so bear this in mind when installing the hooks. If you want to hang several coat hooks, bear in mind that you keep at least 15 cm between each hook. Would you like to add a coat rack for your children on the same wall? Then make sure you keep 90 cm between the bottom and top row.

We recommend using 4 mm thick screws when mounting the coat hook, for example our chipboard screws 4 x 40 mm torx 20. If you decide to install the coat hook on a stone wall, combine the screws with a nylon plug to achieve a firm anchoring of the screws in the stone. If you choose to attach the hook to a wooden wall or beam, first drill a pilot hole with a 3 mm hardwood drill bit. Opt for an industrial look by first securing the coat hooks to an old piece of wood before attaching it to the wall.
