Hammer Fixings 6 x 80 mm - Per 10 pieces
A hammer fixing 6 x 80 mm is used to fix wooden planks, battens or beams of maximum 4 - 5 cm thick to a stone or concrete wall. This hammer fixing 6 mm thick is suitable for anchors that are not loaded too heavily. So not suitable for building a roof where you attach a supporting beam to your wall.
Hammer fixings 6 and 8 mm thick from Wovar have a Pozidrive drive. This allows you to easily remove the hammer fixings. As it were, you unscrew the screw from the fixing again, so that the tension decreases. Use a hammer to clamp the screw in the fixing causing it to expand. You then drive the screw into the wall, causing the fixing to expand. Drill a hole with a diameter of 6.0 mm in the stone of approximately 35 mm deep. Are you using wood thinner than 5 cm? Then you drill a little deeper. You determine the depth with the following sum: fixing length - wood thickness + 1 cm.
For drilling in stone/concrete, choose our SDS plus hammer drill 6 x 110 mm. To drill into the wood, choose our 6.0 mm hardwood drill. Companies in the construction and garden sector receive additional benefits such as a discount with a business account.
