H-Anchor for 7 x 7 cm Posts - Incredibly Strong Anchoring

This hot-dip galvanised post anchor ensures a solid anchoring of 7 x 7 cm garden posts. With these H-anchors, you can build a fence, pergola, or carport without any problems. The post anchors are stronger than our post bases or pointed post anchors. This is due to the clever H-shape of this post holder. Installing the post anchors in concrete creates the strongest base.

How do I install H-anchors?

Start by digging a hole in the ground. Next, place the H-anchor in the hole. By pushing the H-pole anchor slightly into the ground, it will stay upright without you having to hold it. Make sure that your post floats about 5 cm above the ground, as shown in the second image. This allows rainwater to slide completely off the post, and you reduce the risk of rotting wooden posts.

We recommend anchoring this post holder with quick-drying cement. This ensures that your post can no longer move. After approximately 30 minutes, rapid setting cement has hardened and you can place your posts. For lighter constructions such as car canopies, you could also use our post-fixer to fill the post hole with the H-anchor inside. After anchoring the post holder, place the post.

Attach the posts with our strong tap bolts M8 x 90 mm. Do not forget to order the correct M8 washers. Before mounting the bolts, drill 9 mm holes in your post. This is easy with our hardwood drill bit 9 mm. Drill the holes at the correct heights by placing the post in the H-anchor in advance, and marking the mounting holes with a pencil.
