Builders Band Galvanised 30 x 1.5 mm - 10 m Roll

This 30 x 1.5 mm builders band is made of galvanised steel. It is often used for hanging duct work, as well as many other construction applications. The metal straps are easy to bend into the required shape, after which you secure them using one of the many mounting holes. Other examples of builders band usage are joist strutting, fencing repairs, and frame fixing. This is why builders band is also referred to as fixing band or multipurpose fixing band.

Builders band helps to firmly secure a structure and protect it from movement caused by, for example, strong winds. This fixing band is 30 mm wide, 1.5 mm thick, and 10 m long. Fixing band can also be used as a suspension strap, as shown in image 2.

Galvanised steel

The hole pattern in the builders band consists of 3 different kinds of holes. The smallest holes have a diameter of 4 mm. These can be used with 3.5 mm full-threaded screws. Next, you will find 4 x 14 mm slotted holes and 9 mm holes, for which you can use an M8 bolt.
