However, if your piece of furniture is made of hardwoord, pre-drilling is better for both the wood and the screws. You can use our 2 mm hardwoord drill bit for this. 

Installing handles on a cupboard door or drawer

Step 1: Determine the position of the handle and make sure it is level on the door or drawer.
Step 2: Mark the places where the screws need to go.
Step 3: Pre-drill the holes.
Step 4: Attach the handles to the cupboard door or drawer with the screws.
