Column Base Black Adjustable Width - Set of 2

This adjustable column base is perfect for outdoor use. Thanks to the galvanised steel and black coating, the post holders are rust-resistant. There are also different ways to mount these brackets. We offer the column base in sets of 2, because you always need at least two to secure a post.

Note: You will need at least two brackets to secure posts up to 15 x 15 cm. For posts that are bigger, up to 25 x 25 cm, we recommend getting 2 sets, so you can secure the posts with four brackets.

Installing adjustable post holders

When installing a column base on a concrete surface, start by determining the position of the post holder. Next, mark the mounting holes, and then drill holes in the concrete with a hammer drill bit 10 mm. Use anchor bolts M10 to secure the bottom plate. 

When attaching a column base to a wooden surface, you basically follow the same process. Determine the position, mark the mounting holes, and then drill the holes in the post with a hardwood drill bit 10 mm. Secure the post holder with coach screws 10 mm.

Repeat these steps for all the brackets.
