When you install the bottom outlet and gully trap in the drainage channel, check beforehand where you want the components. It is important to know that the bottom outlet should be connected to a 110 mm PVC pipe. First, attach the bottom outlet to the drainage channel, and then attach the other side to the pipe. The water can now simply flow away into the drainage channel, and through the outlet and PVC pipe.

The gully trap is a stench filter that removes the bad smells that can emerge from the drain if it is connected to the sewage system. This trap is installed in the bottom outlet. The P-trap inside the filter enables a continuous presence of water, which acts a barrier between the sewer and the drain. It allows water to flow down, but blocks air from coming up.
